Description

Corporations, public interest groups, governmental entities and other clients frequently seek advice on legislative matters. Lawyers need to know how to access and communicate legislative information. Lawyers should be knowledgeable about legislative processes and trained in effective advocacy techniques in order to competently present legislative matters to policy makers.

This CLE course is designed to provide practicing attorneys strategies for collecting, analyzing, assimilating and delivering pertinent legislative information, and develop advocacy strategies. Participants will gain knowledge in how to analyze, investigate and research specific legislative initiatives at the local, state and federal levels.
