Description

Generative and agentic AI are being adopted in contract practice faster than many legal teams can govern them. AI tools now draft and redline provisions, summarize risk, and analyze contract data, creating new responsibilities for attorneys overseeing their use. As these technologies evolve, lawyers must address ethical obligations, confidentiality concerns, vendor oversight, and compliance requirements in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

This CLE program provides practical guidance for attorneys using AI in contract drafting, review, and management. Attendees will learn how to identify ethical and confidentiality risks, evaluate third-party AI vendors, implement effective governance practices, and respond to evolving regulatory and security expectations. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the ethical boundaries surrounding AI-assisted contract work and practical strategies for maintaining compliance while leveraging these emerging technologies.
