Description

This CLE course provides a practical, real-world approach to contract review and negotiation for both aspiring practitioners and professionals who find themselves responsible for contracts as part of their role. Moving beyond traditional legal theory, it challenges the perceived importance of the classic “six essential legal elements” and instead focuses on the operational provisions that truly drive modern agreements.

Through a detailed breakdown of key clauses—such as scope of work, payment terms, termination, liability limitations, and dispute resolution—participants will learn how to identify risks, prioritize critical terms, and revise contracts effectively. The course concludes with a straightforward, five-step framework designed to streamline contract review in today’s fast-paced, post-Covid business environment.
