Description

This CLE program explores how artificial intelligence, both generative and agentic, is reshaping legal practice and triggering new ethical challenges. This session offers practical guidance on using AI in a manner consistent with professional and ethical obligations. Participants will examine ethical issues such as competence, confidentiality, unauthorized practice of law, supervisory responsibilities, and other core ethical duties.

The program will provide strategies for integrating AI tools responsibly, mitigating risk, and ensuring adherence to applicable rules of professional conduct. Case examples, best practices, and regulatory considerations will be discussed to equip attorneys with the knowledge needed to use AI safely and ethically in their practice.
