He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters each year from 2016 through 2022, an honor awarded to no more than five percent of attorneys based on professional achievement and peer recognition. Mr. Elman earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1988, his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 1991, and an LL.M. in Health Care Law from the DePaul University College of Law Health Law Institute in 1994. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the General and Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1992.
