Lecturer Bio

Jeffrey L. Nogee, Esq.

Jeffrey L. Nogee earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. cum laude from Bucknell University and is admitted to practice in New York, the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, and the 2 nd Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to founding his own private practice in 1990, Mr. Nogee was a Senior Attorney at the world’s largest construction and engineering firm, Ebasco Services Incorporated, and a partner in the law firm of Brauner Baron Rosenzweig et al. Mr. Nogee also served as a senior attorney in Citigroup’s Office of General Counsel for Real Estate.

He subsequently was a member of the well-known real estate law firm Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Nahins & Goidel, P.C. where he oversaw an active estate litigation and probate practice, including bench and jury trials, as well as representing clients in matters involving commercial litigation. After more than a dozen years at Borah Goldstein, he joined the national law firm Tully Rinckey PLLC as a partner in their New York City office. While there, he continued representing both executors and beneficiaries in numerous contested Surrogate’s Court matters as well as advising landlords and condo and coop boards dealing with the various issues raised when a tenant dies – from initial concerns through foreclosures.

After having been in-house counsel and a member of prominent law firms, Mr. Nogee has renewed his own private practice based on Long Island to provide clients with personal, hands-on legal services, where he continues his practice in the areas of trusts and estates, real estate and civil litigation.
