Description

As generative AI tools become increasingly integrated into patent drafting workflows, legal professionals face a critical challenge: how to leverage these technologies effectively while maintaining compliance, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.

This CLE program explores the intersection of AI governance and patent law, providing a practical framework for evaluating and managing the risks associated with AI-assisted drafting. Attendees will gain insight into how AI tools impact inventorship, disclosure obligations, prior art considerations, and privilege, while also learning how to implement governance structures that align with emerging regulatory expectations and ethical standards.

Designed for patent practitioners, in-house counsel, and legal operations professionals, this session moves beyond theory to deliver actionable guidance for responsible AI adoption in patent practice.
